To update the opportunity status, click on the current opportunity status dropdown menu.
There are three opportunity status options: Opportunity Completed, On Hold, and Cancelled.
If your status is On Hold, then the options shown will be: In Progress, Opportunity Completed, and Cancelled Opportunity.
Opportunity Completed
When an opportunity has been completed, you can change the opportunity status to Opportunity Completed. In this case, an opportunity status message will ask you to confirm the change.
If you wish, you can send a ‘Thank You’ note to your Referrer. Next, click on the ‘Set as Complete’ button to finalize the opportunity. Once the opportunity status has changed to Opportunity Completed, you can no longer change the opportunity status.
Cancelled Opportunity
If you decide to cancel an opportunity, you can change the opportunity status to Cancelled Opportunity. An alert message will appear to confirm the status change.
Click on the ‘Yes, I’m sure‘ button to change the opportunity status to Cancelled or click on the ‘Cancel‘ button to cancel the status change. After the opportunity status is changed to cancelled, you can still change the opportunity status.
